Two attempts have been made to build a bomb, capable of freezing the entire world. The first was a failure, and resulted in a living blue ball. The second attempt was a success. Now the clock is ticking, and the world is in grave danger. That is, unless...

Within a Deep Forest is a freeware 2D platform game for Windows featuring challenging gameplay, beautiful music, an evil doctor, and a deep forest.

You control, at first, a blue ball in an attempt to save the world. As you progress you unlock more balls with other attributes than the blue one. It is now up to you to decide which ball is going to work best with a puzzle/obstruction at hand. Choose wisely or you loose your balls.

    Infinite cuteness is my fav feature in this game. :ninja:

    This game is a very collective effort - Nifflas was only a project coordinator and graphic artist - music and many levels were designed by other people iirc.

    I think the game is something else. Very cute and a good waste of some time. I am not very good with this genre.

    A little too bouncy for my liking, but anyone who adores cuteness, but wants a challenge as well, should look into this platformer. While the level design is somewhat confusing, this is offset by a variety of bouncing balls with different physics. And did I mention cuteness?
