Building Panic (2001)

It is hard to put this game in particular genres. It is the classic board game of Othello played by putting wallpaper up on a scaffolding. The game is not turnbased, but has a hectic pace and lots of fun. It gets hard pretty fast, and you will find yourself hammering away on your keyboard to try and complete the levels as you go along. The reason this didn't score higher is simply because there are so many extremely excellent games out there with gameplay that somewhat resembles it. This however does not reflect badly otherwise on Building panic.

The game has by the way a very fitting name, as you will be building panic very fast in front of your screen...

  Funny game but a bit on the repetative side... I used up all my credits on one level. Just couldn't get past it...
  
  I think the game deserves its slot on CWF, as it surely is a great new way to play Othello/Reversi.

  What I really like about this game is the clever mix of Othello/Reversi board game and platformer. Really unique title, however gameplay is a bit repetitive. But worth a try imho.
