TrackMania Nations Forever is a new version of the previously released TrackMania Nations. This 2008 installment in TrackMania series features 65 new tracks, solo and multiplayer mode, track editor and special system allowing players of TMNF and TrackMania United Forever to play on the same servers. You can also choose from many more nationalities than in previous freeware edition, which allowed playing for only few countries.
Like its earlier version, it is a massive freeware game, boasting more than just impressive graphics and still very simple and fun gameplay. Arcade-like car physics (i.e. no complete loss of control after every single mistake), easy controls, and a great number of Beginner tracks make beginning and learning this game very fast and straightforward. However, despite the seemingly easy beginnings, the great number of ready-made tracks of differing difficulty levels and the built-in (and again, pretty easy to use) track editor make the game a long-lasting source of entertainment. Players are also able to paint their cars very freely, giving space to one's imagination and creativity.
The game is ultimately meant to be played online using the numerous servers available, but it's also possible to play two alternative game modes, the single player practice mode and the highly entertaining multiplayer 'hot seat' mode, in which the players take turns to try beat the others' times and therefore claim the victory to the track at hand.
All in all, a very good if massive (in download size) car-racing game and worth a try for everyone having at least a small 'thing' for racing.
Trackmania Nations is a mostly multiplayer game. The single-player part is just a tutorial and practice modes, and do not offer much of gameplay. The whole point of this game is the online multiplayer.
If you're familiar with Nadeo's other TrackMania games, you know exactly what this game is a...
eMTe : Be sure to try online play once you master easiest tracks (A and B).
Railwaymodeler : 500 MB download? Firefox tells me I got a half hour to download this on my DSL internet. Too bad I can't take better advantage of my gigabit Ethernet adapter right now!
Regardless, I got a feeling I'll be playing this for a while!
EDIT: Download crapped out just as it was finishing. Claimed it couldn't read from the source. Am re-trying now.
EDIT 2: It downloaded OK from another mirror. Will be setting up pretty quick now. But, it's after midnight, and I'm starting to feel tired.
eMTe : I got bored with this, but came back. Impressive, how quickly number of players grows. I was once somewhere around 4000th place in the world (per circa 700-800 thousands registered players) and after 2 or 3 week absence I dropped to 40000 place... It's quite easy to jump 10000 places, since the lower player is the more points he gains for good positions, but climbing so high again is beyond my powers atm... Unless I would play 25 hours/day.
Unfortunately, TMNF has serious problems with servers stability. Of course its not game's problem, but servers' (mostly private and, judging by chat comments and banning rules, run by pretty childish people), but it is main reason why I dont play it as much as I used to.
Nevertheless, it's freeware of the year as I doubt anything can beat it on my private list.
Chroelle : Hereby praising excellence once more! What a fantastic game!

Voyage Puzzle is a ball-matching puzzle game.
The goal in each level is to remove all tiles from the board within the given time period. To break the tile you need to create the chain of three or more identical balls which will adjoin it. Later levels introduce more complex boards where it's more difficult to match balls and tiles which are harder to destroy - they either need more chains to break them or are locked. To break the locked tile you... (read more)
