It's year 2284. War between Earth and Mendel, planet colonized by humans at the beginning of 23rd century, goes on. UTS Atlas, powerful battlecruiser deployed in previously uncolonized part of Mendel has been seized by a deadly bioweapon. Your team arrives to rescue the ship and - if possible - survivors.
Taken from official manual which describes things best:
"Derelict is a hybrid first person shooter and tactical action game. You will need to guide your team of battle hardened marines through the Atlas while protecting them from danger. You can do this in two ways: controlling the marines directly in first person view or by giving the marines orders via the map view. You will need to use both control schemes throughout the game to be successful. Each marine in your team has his own unique skills and abilities, some of which may be vital to get through certain areas."
Just announcing a new version of Derelict. The new stuff:
- Two player co-operative mode (For XBox 360 controller owners only, unfortunately)
- Revamped GUI
- XBox 360 controller support
- Revamped texture pack
- Misc changes and updates
Edit - I'd also like to discuss some of my other (smaller) titles here as well, but I wasn't sure if it'd be frowned upon if I created topics discussing my own games?
Chroelle : EVeryone can look forward to an interview with Erik coming up on CWF soon. I just need some time to get it going...
Pater Alf : I downloaded and tried it right away and it really works now. That should make it a lot easier to succeed in your game (it was very hard even on easiest level before).
Thank you very much!!!
earok : One other person noted that bug in a pre-1.2 version, it should be fixed now. Can you let me know if there is still no map, if there isn't can you email me a screenshot?

Pater Alf : Yes, I mean when I play with the communications specialist. All I get is an acustic signal that gets faster if enemies get closer. But I can't see anything on the radar (not even a map, everything is black).
Scythe : Well, did you have the Communications Specialist as your active character? Otherwise, the radar doesn't show much of anything, IIRC.
Pater Alf : The most serious bug on my computer was that I couldn't see anything on the radar. I got an accustig signal if enemies come close, but I couldn't see from which direction. I didn't even realize that this is a bug until I saw some screenshots from the working radar/map. Game is still fully playable, but I think it gets alot harder that way.
I have to check if this bug is gone in the new version.
Scythe : Sorry we never got around to beta testing, hope you did find some testers. I am sure one of the more diligent guys will replace it with the new version soonish.
Hmm, gotta find the time to try it out too... sounds good with an updated AI.
RotoCube is a puzzle game similar in concept to famous toy Rubik's Cube. The goal is to manipulate 9 "cubes" so that each one would contain only squares of the same colour. To achieve it you have to rotate whole cubes or move rows and columns of squares. At the beginning of each level you are given the number of moves required to solve the puzzle and if you reach the limit you can't manipulate the set further - you can only undo your moves and try...
