  • Big Fun with Big Solitaires 3D by

When most people think of solitaire on the PC, they think of the venerable game that has been bundled with Windows since version 3.1. Big Solitaires is very different. While you can still play solitaire, as well as freecell, there are many, many more options to make your game more interesting ...

Discussion on our forums on Big Solitaires 3D

  • Pater Alf :
I uploaded a new file of the game (that was compiled after I informed the developer about the problem) and now there a no more warnings. You can be sure that the game is 100% virus free as it was tested with 40 different antivirus programs!
  • Pater Alf :
After I installed the new version of AntiVir it suddenly gave me a warning about Adware/Spyware in "Big Solitaires 3D". It might be a false alarm, but I wonder if anyone else encountered problems?
  • Pater Alf :
The game has been added to CWF's database. You can download Big Solitaires 3D (just for Windows at the moment) from our game info page:

    http://curlysworldoffreeware.com/game_i ... gameid=287

I will add the Linux file as soon as I find a working download...

  • Pater Alf :
I will add the game to the database as soon as possible...

One question to all Linux users: When I try to download the Linux version of the game the download always breaks for me (I get files that are 100 -200 kb). Does anyone have a working Linux version?

  • Railwaymodeler :
Well, if we don't have a pinball game, then I guess someone has to find one!

I'll see what I can dig up...

Anyway, since this has been accepted, can it be uploaded to CWF? I am fixing to write a review for it.

  • Pater Alf :
Nice idea! But we have to check carefully if we're allowed to bundle the games in such a package...

BTW: We have a Pinball game???

  • Railwaymodeler :
Sadly, I have to report that the 'Rail' deck has nothing to do with railroads.

Still playing this game anyway. Will vote soon.

Since this game covers Freecell, and we already have better versions of Minesweeper and Pinball, could CWF have a 'Windows Games Redux' package or something?

    Just a thought.

  • Chroelle :
Oh...Damn. I was aware of that. It simply seemed like a bug to me when I encountered it. Mostly because it was random how many cards I coul move, but now I see a pattern...:)
  • Drasir-Vel :
In the rules for Oceans Eleven:
Groups of cards can be moved if there are enough Reserve piles free to allow the move if the cards were moved singly.

That means, as far as i understand, that you only had two reserve piles available when you tried to move the cards. In that case, it's not a bug, it's just part of the game rules.
I've tested it, and i came to these results. If you have three reserve piles free, you can move a stack of four cards, and if you have two reserve piles free, you can move a stack of three.

  • Railwaymodeler :
    A 'Rail' Deck???

I got to check this out now!

Just finished downloading. I'm going to see this 'Rail' deck!
