Wormage (2007)

Wormage is a strategy game depicting the life of worms during winter. The goal is to help them survive in these infavourable conditions for as long as you can.

Gameplay in Wormage is divided between protecting freely roaming worms from tick-like parasites and satisfying their needs. Worms need food, shelter and sex (to reproduce). Each worm expresses its current desire via thought bubble. You can build and sell various structures - food crates, shelter holes etc. of which worms will make use if they wish to.

Game contains 15 original missions with increasing difficulty, but you can also set up a single mission yourself. In this case you can customize the difficulty level - you are allowed to set the number of worms you start with, the number of living worms you expect to have at the end of mission (max. 40), amount of start and end money, mission length (up to 30 days) and parasite risk level.

  Not very complex and a little easy in my eyes, but it's a nice little coffee break simulation. And in a strange way it is pretty addictive.

  A somewhat complex game with little feel of complete control. However I liked the idea. The whole concept is simply cute and cuddly, and not in the baddest way.
