Once again we find Trilby (real name unknown) in a situation which cannot be fully explained without trying the game. If you have played the other games with Trilby you know what I am talking about: 5 Days a Stranger, 7 Days a Skeptic, and after Trilby's Notes, 6 Days a Sacrifice.
Yahtzee has also done other games, so it is indeed worth keeping an eye on him.
The interface in Trilby's Notes is different from the first two adventures before this. They were point and clicks but this one is in the style of the old Sierra games, like "King's Quest", where you have to type what you want to do. This is surely a hate it or love it feature.
Ben Yahtzee has once again created an atmospheric game, that has the most die-hard horror fans trembling in their pants, wondering where exactly there mother is. There is no doubt that you will find yourself crawling the walls when playing this.

The third game (second, timeline wise) in Yahtzee's twisted and shocking series starring the daring thief Trilby continues where the events of 5 Days a Stranger left off. Opening with a review of the events after the adventure at the DeFoe Mansion as well as a follow up for the characters involve...

I was trapped inside DeFoe Manor for five days. I was forced to do something I can never forgive myself for. Possessed I may have been, but I was still watching through my eyes a man dying at my hands...
Three of us got out alive. Me, Simone Taylor, and Jim Fowler. The place burnt to the ground as we escaped, but ever since then I have been haunted by the possibility that John DeFoe was not at rest, that the idol that contained his soul would have survived the blaze, and still be out there somewhere...

For example, you need four blocks with the number four or seven blocks with the number seven to remove them. So if you have just six blocks with the number seven, you have to create another one by summing up neighbouring blocks so... (read more)
