FreeTumble (2009)

by sebygames

Casual block-removing game with three modes. You can only remove the tiles of the same colour and connected to each other. In normal and motion modes the goal is to survive as long as possible, before tiles reach the top. The difference is, normal mode is turn-based, so new line of tiles appears every time you make the move. In motion mode new line appears only after a while. Classic mode begins with the full grid and the goal is to remove all (or almost all) tiles. Another difference is that you can remove minimum 2 tiles (in first two modes the minimum is 3 blocks).

  • Pater Alf :
Nice coffeebreak game. The three modes are really different from each other (and all of them are very playable), there are no unnecessary extras and the music is great and relaxing. I think there are many similar games out there (regarding the concept), but just a few that are of the same quality.

Match-3 game with three modes - turn-based, real-time and free. If youve seen one youve seen them all, but somehow this one is very relaxing, partially because of simple neat design and soft music, partially because of the modes - if you're fed up with fast one you can always choose strategic one in your next play - usually match-3 games utilise only the real-time mode. Various skins, available in three languages.
